Walking options limited due to narrow roads with no footpaths. The only room with an ensuite was already booked, leaving an adjacent bathroom—not ideal for future visits. Lacked decaf options in the room, which would’ve been nice for a warm start to the day.

Absolutely loved my stay! The warm welcome with tea and home-baked cake was pure magic. Karen's breakfast spread was a delight, offering everything from fresh fruit to a cooked feast. Only downside was the lack of a stunning view, but the cozy atmosphere made up for it!

A warm welcome with homemade treats
From the moment we walked in, Karen made us feel right at home with tea and lovely homemade cake. Each morning offered an incredible array of delicious breakfast options, and the cozy ambiance of Primrose Cottage made our stay feel truly special.
Although our stay was near perfect, I wished there were more walking options available since the roads nearby were quite narrow and didn’t have footpaths. An extra touch like a decaffeinated coffee option in the room would have made mornings even better.

The cozy atmosphere was complemented by delightful homemade breakfast offerings, including traditional bread that was a highlight. the lack of an ensuite bathroom and limited walking options due to narrow roads detracted from the experience. the absence of decaffeinated coffee in the room would have been a welcome touch for a more relaxed start to the day.
